Jonathan was mentioned in The Hollywood Reporter in August 2015.
"Rush was joined by violinist Jonathan Dinklage (the brother of actor Peter). The special guest is no stranger to performing with the band, after being a part of the string section on their Clockwork Angels Tour, which marked the first time Rush ever used outside musicians onstage. He joined the trio for the rare ballad “Losing It,” marking only the fourth time the band has ever played the song from the 1982 album Signals live." Click the image to read the full article.
In May of 2024, Jonathan was featured on Journey to the Stage a podcast hosted by Bryan Frazier. "Jonathan Dinklage is a world class violinist and violist who has recorded and toured with some of the biggest and most talented artists of our time- with names like David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga and many more. His dream gig was being invited to tour with RUSH as part of the band's string ensemble for their Clockwork Angels tour. We chat about being the lead violinist on Broadway's HAMILTON and explore the origin story of Jonathan, including being raised in a home that launched Jonathan's and his brother, actor Peter Dinklage's careers. We spend the bulk of our time talking about his time touring with RUSH. Jonny gives us an insight into that tour and working closely with RUSH, like few others can.
We had a surprise appearance by Jonathan's sweet little girl at the end of our chat, which topped off our chat wonderfully." By Bryan Frazier

Jonathan was interviewed on Something for Nothing: A RUSH Fancast in 2021. "Violinist Jonathan Dinklage played with Rush in the Clockwork Angels String Ensemble and, on select dates on the R40 tour, took over soloing duties on "Losing It." And now he's talking to us! Jonathan, a lifelong Rush fan, fills us in on how he landed his dream gig, what it was like to meet his musical heroes, and what it felt like to play that iconic solo in "Losing it" for the first time."
